Twitter is Fast Becoming a Money Machine

Have you tweeted today? Are you familiar with Twitter? If you use this micro-blogging platform, what do you write about? Many people are turning Twitter into an internet cash machine where you can almost hear the silent cha ching playing in the background every time someone tweets. There is a lot of money to be made on Twitter if you know how to use it. Programs are popping up every day on the internet that utilize this social networking platform to enhance one program or another. Social networks like facebook and Sokule are connecting directly to Twitter from their dashboards so that users can post across multiple sites with the click of one button. You don’t even have to log in to the various accounts to use this sort of program. Just type in user name and password and press send. Your message will be carried to multiple sites in seconds, at fractions of the speed, time and effort it would take to use these social networking resources on an individual basis.

Daily Niche Ideas

Get Daily Niche Ideas for your blog.

You can be certain that if you can think of it, someone else already thought of the idea you just came up with. I'm writing about niche topics and researching the internet to find all the valuable information that I can possibly locate on this topic. It's a vast realm.

My idea- to come up with niche ideas to discuss here. What did I find in my search engine quest? I found a video that discusses a "daily niche idea". There is an actual website with this theme. I give them a two thumbs up! You visit the site, sign up for a daily email and you will receive niche internet ideas to search out yourself in your daily inbox.

It seemed like the perfect place to begin. Enjoy the quest!

What is a Niche Anyway?

If you are reading this blog and asking that question, then this is a good time to answer it for you. I'll do my best to define "niche" for you to help you understand why it is so important to find yours.

Without being too technical, I'll first present the definition.

Niche - a focused, targetable part of a market.
(from InvestorWords.com)

In every day terms, that means find something that you love and can get excited about. Figure how to market the product, the story line, the service, the blog concept, the book subject, whatever it is. The niche can be any thing. My friend Katy loves Nascar so she creates "niche blogs" for Nascar and passionately writes about the sport, the drivers and the races.

I love historical costumes and renaissance faires. Ideally, I can create a blog about faires and the clothing. This could be used in many ways such as marketing costumes, selling tickets to events, or as a journalism outlet to enhance my career as a writer. Fashion is a larger niche with historical costumes falling into a category underneath that and renaissance faires falling into the category of a specialized niche.

My daughter loves gardening so she could focus on a business where she sells only organic plants or medicinal herbs. That would be another specialized niche.

There are so many ideas and so many categories in the "niche topic" that its almost endless. You get the idea.

Find your niche. Grow it. Build it. Write about it. Market it. Experience the passion.

Revived Enthusiasm for my Niche Blog

If you've visited this site before then you definitely noticed the change! Today we changed the name from Niche Blogging to "Elite Blog Reviews" with the subtitle "Niche Blogging". We (Cephas and I) also purchased a domain name for this blog to match the network host blog at http://www.eliteblogreviews.com. It's a great name so we are running a series of blogs under its helm. You can expect to see more in this series in the next few weeks.

Note: If you clicked the above link and got a blank space, try this url http://themidnightwriter.tumblr. We just purchased the domain for that site today, too.

Did I tell you we are excited about the improvements?

Well,  you can't see me jumping for joy, but I am! Now I will be creating lots of interesting content for our network sites, this one included. So, I'm asking for your feedback.

What would you like to read on Elite Blog Reviews that would benefit you as a reader?

Naturally, I'll be posting lots of information about niche blogging so get ready to bookmark us as an information portal in that area. We want to keep it interesting, though so we'll surf the internet in search of new topics to include.

I'm the nuts and bolts writer but Cephas is the advertising grinder for our network. He gets into posting the links everywhere to drive traffic to our sites. Cephas also gets into the brains of the code and tweaks our sites when he is not upgrading a computer or communicating with advertisers. It's a busy life and we love it. I just wanted to shout out our excitement at having a facelift on this site.

Come back and visit soon but think about creating a niche blog and list a few ways that you would select a niche. Then return here to read our discussions on the topic. We'll be waiting for you.

Memorial Fund for Gabriel

It is with a heavy heart that I write this today because I miss a little boy named Gabriel. Watching his brother Raven and his father Woodstock, a/k/a Loren David O'Connor, suffer through the pain of their loss while trying to make arrangements for his burial, memorial and wake is really hard. Gabriel Jaden Coates was with us for a short 3 years, 2 months and 2 days, yet he has made a profound impression on the hearts of people that will last forever. He left this earth to enter the spirit world on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at about 11 am. Gabriel fell into the water of the Antelope Creek, which was fast moving and deep. His body was recovered by very compassionate rescue workers about two hours later.

Woodstock, Raven, his friends and family are sort of moving in a state of unreal shock. Things need to get done. So we are helping in whatever way we can. Funds are urgently needed to buy the casket and to buy a plot where he will be laid to rest. Please spread the word and help in whatever way you can.

Please visit the dedication site for Gabriel at http://www.angelsforgabriel.org. News and information about his memorial, burial and wake will be posted on this blog. Lots of pictures will be loaded soon that I took of the gathering site where little Gabriel drowned. We took photos of the creek and the campsite where he laughed, played and enjoyed. There is a very spiritual picture on the site now that shows what we believe is Gabriel's spirit that appeared while Woodstock and I were standing by the stream talking about Gabriel, about what happened, about his life, about what to do now. It is then that we both felt his presence and a butterfly landed on Woodstock after that moment. I took a photo in the direction of where they found Gabriel's body in the water and that is where the column of light appeared. It was an intense, sad, happy, etherical time.

We will be assisting Woodstock with transferring of funds to the Funeral home when it is placed on the paypal in the amount we need. The general manager Chris Girdner at the Girdner Funeral Chapel is giving us until Tuesday at closing time to come up with the total for the casket. This is urgent. Other arrangements are being made and other funds are needed very much. Please email angelsforgabriel@gmail.com if you have questions or if you want to help in some way.

The Forest Service, the fire department, the Siskiyou county Sheriff's department, the Fish and Game dept. personnel, and the townspeople volunteers from Tennant were very gentle, kind, compassionate during the entire ordeal. We are all grateful to them for the way they handled this situation.

I have many things to write and memorial signs and brochures to make, and a website to update, so please help us facilitate this link being spread far and wide to get the funds together. Gabriel deserves a decent casket, memorial, burial and wake. Help us give him that much, please. Woodstock should not have to concern himself with money at a time like this. Right now we are all camping in our rigs while this is all taking place, so family please plug into this compassionate service.

Much love and blessings.
Summer Breeze on behalf of Woodstock, Raven, Gabriel & Raven and
Jazzy all his friends and family.

Study the Market for your Niche

When  you select a niche topic for a specialized blog analyze the saturation of the market. Then you can make sound calculations about the projected audience and market for any products or affiliate programs you might choose to use on your niche blog. If the topic is your niche, then use some affiliate programs with the content selector so the automation will set up affiliate programs or products to match. This is probably one of the simplest techniques for a blog that you want to be self generating for code links.
What if the blog niche is in the actual topic?
Then carefully create an outline to project all the possible ways to write about the topic. List all the subtopics and find references for them. Add the references to your outline. Next, list all main points about each main topic and subtopics. From this outline, you should be able to draft blog posts on your niche blog in an informative way indefinitely.
I’ll give you an example.
Say you are going to create a niche blog where you talk about candy. First of all, it is clear that you can write about candy and you can sell candy products and you can feature candy affiliate programs where you earn a commission.
Before you start, consider some very important aspects of covering your candy niche blog.
How will you organize the candy blog?
~ Start with an outline.
~ How many types of candy are there?
~ Do seasons define which candies can be sold and for how long?
~ What holidays are associated with candy and how can I use this to enhance my topics and better define the subject matter?
~ Which types of candy are good sellers year round?
These are only a few examples. If you used the technique called brainstorming, you would probably come up with an extensive outline filled with hundreds of topics, subtopics and many notes to expand upon in the creation of your candy blog.
Think of it like writing a book.
First, you write a synopsis giving a general idea for the book. Next, you outline the characters and their description. Now comes the general plot which is broken down into chapters for a more detailed sectioning of the story as it follows a timeline or chronology.
Creating a blog is done in a similar way, if it is to be a successful niche blog. Do you have some ideas on how to better set up and organize a niche blog as a professional site?

Fashion Niche Can Yield both Traffic and Profits

renaissance-clothing-4

Fashion is always a good niche for sales or writing. It would make a good niche blog, especially with all the hype recently about Michele Obama’s fashion sense. Since we are discussing niche blogs, I wanted to introduce this one as a potential money maker in both sales, content marketing, photography and actual fashion designs.

In the photo above you are seeing the fashion of Elizabethan times, along with a masquerade mask that was common for their masquerade balls of the time. Historically, fashion has been an important and integral part of society and culture to different degrees.

I chose this photo because I love historical fashion. In fact, I have the opportunity to write for a renaissance costume blog and for a renaissance character that I created. Ren Faire Reese is my fashion niche blog that is opening many doors for me in many areas of my blogging and freelance writing career. It is one study in which i can offer direct witness about my personal experiences. With this niche, i will be able to share insight right here on Niche Blogging.

I know that this blog has reached a page rank of 2 in less than three months on google. That has to mean something to be so high ranking so quickly. This is the kind of topic you want to find for a niche blog, one that is popular with readers, with buyers and with search engines…depending upon the purpose of the blog, naturally.

The First Lady Michelle Obama adds a spark of interest to fashion, especially for ladies who are older than twenty or thirty. She shows how lovely a woman of larger than model size can look in pretty yet conservative fashion. I think Michelle Obama is always a lady in whatever she wears and definitely always classy looking.

The First Lady would make a great feature section on a niche blog surrounding fashion. I just shared a gem with you. It would be fun to hear if anyone runs with it.

Do you have ideas on niche blogging to share?
